Textual Search (Standard)
When you use the textual search, the system operates as an AND operation between the terms you enter. This means that:
Are you including multiple keywords? The system will search for all documents or pages that simultaneously contain all the words you have typed. Example: If you search for 'comune opening hours' (municipality filottrano opening hours), the system will only return results that contain all three words: "comune", "opening", "hours". This type of search is ideal when you know exactly what you are looking for and want precise results that contain a specific combination of terms.
Semantic Search (Intelligent)
Semantic search goes beyond simple keywords. When you use this mode, the system endeavors to understand the meaning of your phrase or question. Instead of looking for exact word matches, it will look for results that are semantically close (i.e., by meaning) to the phrase you searched for.
Example: If you search for 'dove posso acquistare dei medicinali?' (where can I buy medicines?), the semantic search might return results discussing facilities where products like medicines are sold, even if the exact words "where", "I", "buy", "medicines" are not present in the text.
